The Bicycle was the greatest tool in the emancipation of women and even today it is a great liberator, allowing people to travel much, much further than walking. To travel by bicycle can multiply your experiences five fold as you still have a direct and involved participation in your sightseeing, a far greater range and perhaps only a sore bottom rather that very tired body and feet! (We have the best gel saddles).

Our bicycles come in all sizes, are the latest model “Diamondback” light weight alloy mountain bikes, 21 and 24 speed “rapid fire” gears, both ladies and gents models. We also stock “Indi” alloy tandems, youth and children's bikes, trailers and baby seats. We are proud to own these quality bikes as you will be pleased and comforted to ride them.

All bikes are fitted with a combination lock for security, ladies bikes can be fitted with a carry basket and all bikes can be fitted with lights (extra cost) if intending to ride at night. Helmets are compulsory by law and supplied free with bikes.

Valet Cycle Hire provide the latest in bicycles, either delivered to you at your hotel or casual hire from our "Bike Station" in the City Botanic Gardens. We also provide detailed maps of the inner city parklands and river banks, provide written itineraries and maps covering the greater suburban areas of the Brisbane River and a guide to the ferries that operate along and across the river.
